I urge you to click on this link so that you can watch a TED video during which Sir Ken Robinson explains how schools today are “killing” creativity in their students.
It soon becomes obvious that he is a highly educated man with a razor-sharp wit and a delicious sense of humor. (He bears a striking resemblance to Michael Caine.) There are dozens of moments of hilarity as the minutes fly, as he entertains and as well as informs everyone in the TED audience.
Please, set aside some time and nourish yourself with gourmet brain food, and then you will probably watch the video again because you will want to share it with others.
I also highly recommend two of his books, The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything (2009) and Out of Our Minds: Learning to be Creative (2011).
