Why women tend to be better managers in business….

One man’s opinion (Part One), women tend to be better managers in business because they

1. Ask more and better questions
2. Listen better
3. Have more highly-developed emotional intelligence
4. Are much less inclined to hold grudges
5. Are more interested in influence than in control
6. Have more respect for their and others’ emotions
7. Prefer results to credit for achieving them
8. Are more inclined to laugh at themselves
9. Are less inclined to laugh at others
10. Prefer to help people “grow” rather than “manage” them

However, that said, one man’s opinion (Part Two), women in business need to

1. Avoid answering a question with another question
2. Spend less time getting to the point
3. When complimented, say “Thank you” and leave it at that
4. Intuit but verify
5. Smile more but laugh out loud seldom (if ever)
