COVID-19 deaths reported in the U.S. as of November 17, 2021: by age

Given the recent, widespread media coverage of COVID-19 developments, I decided to check out statistics. Here is an excerpt from an article by John Elflein for the statista website.

Between the beginning of January 2020 and November 17, 2021, of the 765,320 deaths caused by COVID-19 in the United States, around 203,385 had occurred among those aged 85 years and older. This statistic shows the number of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) deaths in the U.S. from January 2020 to November 2021, by age.

Total deaths from COVID-19 per age group:

0-17 years 605

18-29 years 4,460

30-39 years 13,196

40-49 years 32 230

50-64 years 139,761

65-74 years 173,365

75-84 years 203,385

85 years and older 203,385
