Beware of Wac-A-Mole behavior

You know the type.

Like the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, hops from one subject to the next, one task to the next.

Overwhelmed by decisions: Too many choices, not enough time, etc.

Overextended by work: Too much to do, not enough energy, etc.

Because of stream-of-conscious thinking, communications (both oral and written) are all-over-the-map.

Three Suggestions to Whac-A-Molers:

1. Set at least three but no more than five specific goals to achieve each day.

2. For each goal, make a list of the tasks necessary to achieve it and complete the tasks in sequence.

3. Except in an emergency (a real emergency) stick to this plan every day.

Good luck has nothing to do with it. I wish you determination to eliminate your Whac-A-Mole behavior.
