    Bob,

    Thanks for posting about Montessori.

I wrote an article entitled, “Superwoman Was Already Here” about Montessori that you might enjoy.

    http://un-schooled.net/?p=488

I also produced this RSA-style animation about Montessori

Thanks so much for the thorough and thoughtful review you just posted on my new book, The Innovation Ultimatum. Wow, you made my day. Feedback from friends is always nice, but you know they are all being kind and so you never know if what you’ve written is any good or not until real people read it and provide true feedback. The wave of relief that swept over me as I read your review this morning was powerful. The very first validation that I may have done a half decent job with the book. Thanks so much, Bob. You made me very happy today. And I’m so glad that you enjoyed the book. I really wanted to make it a helpful resource for leaders, and it sounds like you found at least a few things in there that resonated with you. Thanks for taking the time to read and review my book. Much, MUCH appreciated. Oh, one small note: at one point later in the review you refer to me as Scott rather than Steve. No biggie. I get it all the time, but I thought you’d want to know. All the best, Steve

Thank you for your gracious, indeed generous comments about my review. Sorry about the typo re your name. Years ago, I misspelled Peter Drucker’s last name in the worst possible way. Apparently I was subconsciously thinking about my favorite Jonathan Winters character, Maude Frickert, who was among the first stewardesses and once was on a mercy mission flight, delivering “Dear John” letters to the yellow fever victims in Panama.

Again, thank you for the material you share in the book. It will have wide, deep, and enduring impact. How pleased and proud you must be. I am eager to read your next book, Meanwhile, best wishes and warmest regards.

    Hi Bob,

I’ve written 6 books, two of them business books. I’m now starting something new around business agility. Rather than writing books, I’m making videos and writing online:

and I’ve published a course on corporate culture you will probably enjoy:

    Bob,

I was thrilled to get a google alert on your interview with Jon Kolko. He’s quite an inspiration and I’ve been fortunate enough to also have had the pleasure of interviewing him for Capture Your Flag.

I thought you would find his videos useful – we have filmed him in 2011, 2012 and 2013 and hope to revisit with him to continue our documentary filming this fall. Here is a YouTube playlist of all his CYF videos to date:

    Keep inspiring with your work!

    Hi Bob,

We noticed in your recent blog post reviewing “The Challenger Customer” (http://bobmorris.biz/the-challenger-customer-a-book-review-by-bob-morris) that you referred to our company as “Corporate Executive Board (CEB).” While we formerly went by Corporate Executive Board, we underwent a rebranding two years ago and now legally go by CEB only.

The reference should read as follows: “and their colleagues at CEB what their rigorous and extensive…”

If you could please correct this reference within your blog post to read CEB only as soon as possible, we would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you,
    Sarah

    Hi Bob,

Yesterday, I came across your article Why Positivity is So Essential in the Workplace. I really enjoyed it. I find your work to be useful, actionable, and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing it with the world.

While reading, I noticed that you linked to one of my favorite articles What Is Positive Psychology? (http://psychology.about.com/od/branchesofpsycholog1/a/positive-psychology.htm)

So, I thought I’d shoot you a quick message to let you know that I created a similar article. It’s called Positivity: 11 Steps To Grow Your Happiness. It’s a more thorough, specific, and up to date resource for positivity and positive psychology. (http://www.earthunchained.com/positivity/)

It might be worth a mention on your page, because I can see that you appreciate high-quality content, too.

Either way, keep up your inspiring work 🙂

Bob, I think you share my view that leadership is more than supervisory skills. My passion is organizational design, which has a huge influence on performance and employee satisfaction.

As fodder for your blog and as a potential book review, would you have any interest in my latest book on org structure? With this engineering science of structure, you can look at any org chart and see who’s fighting with whom, who’s not making objectives, and who has ulcers!

I’d be honored to send you a review copy if you’d like.

    Dear Bob,

I see that you reviewed the book The Whole-Brain Child: 12 Revolutionary Strategies to Nurture Your Child’s Developing Mind. I have written a book that is similar to that. Would you be willing to let me provide you with a free copy of my book in hopes that you would consider reviewing my book on Amazon as well?

My name is Diane Hunt and my book is No Failing Middle Schoolers – 6 strategies parents can use to take smart but problematic kids from failure to success in 3 to 6 months. I am launching this book on Monday, October 23, 2017. Here is a link to my website: http://www.nofailingstudents.com/home.html

I’d be happy to mail you a free copy of my book to review if you provide a mailing address. Of course, I understand that you are under zero obligation to review my book, and if you do review it, you can leave a good, or a bad review. I am simply looking for the opportunity to have you consider it.

Thank you very much. I look forward to your response.
    Warmest regards,

Resource missing on Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory
    Hi Bob,
I was doing some research on Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory and I came across your really helpful article: https://bobmorris.biz/profile-howard-gardner-multiple-intelligences-and-education
Over the last 4 weeks I wrote the probably most actionable and comprehensive guide on the internet on Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory.
The Multiple Intelligence Theory is a psychological theory about the human mind. It is against the notion that intelligence is a single trait that we are born with and can’t change.
Gardner identified eight different “intelligences” that influence the way we perceive and understand things. In this article we will look into all those types of intelligence in the succeeding discussion. You can check out the guide here: https://www.cleverism.com/howard-gardners-multiple-intelligence-theory/
Might be worth mentioning this helpful resource in your awesome article.
Anyway keep up the great work.

    Cheers,
    Martin

  21. Amanda on January 29, 2021 at 4:35 pm

    Hello Bob,

My name is Amanda Clark and just wrote my first business ebook. It’s called Social Media for Professional Services. I wrote the book for my uncle, an accountant, to help him better understand how to use social media to grow his business. He liked it and suggested that I turn it into a book.

    https://www.amazon.com/Social-Media-Professional-Services-Strategies-ebook/dp/B08TDZSDSJ/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=social+media+for+professional+services&qid=1611939143&s=books&sr=1-1

I saw your amazing reviews here on your website and on Amazon and I was wondering if you’d be interested in reviewing my ebook. I’s be more than happy to send you a pdf version or if you prefer to read something in your hand I could have it printed at my local shop and send it to you via mail. Also, my book will be free next week from Feb 1st – Feb 4th if you’d prefer to download it directly from Amazon.

An honest review from you would really mean a lot to me and my small business. Please let me know if you are interested. If not, thank you very much for your time and I hope you have a great weekend.

    Best,

    Amanda Clark

    Dear Mr. Morris,

I enjoyed reading your detailed and thoughtful review of “Human/Machine” by D. Newman and O. Blanchard, and wonder what would you think about my short book “The Transfer” devoted to the same grand theme. This is formally a sci-fi story, but essentially popular engineering (plus a bit of homely philosophy) in disguise. You might start by glancing at the (listed) book’s website, and if you are interested, I would be happy to send you its paperback version.

    Thanks in advance, VHT
